Club Fair

March 25, 2022

This event was hosted as a chance for students to advertise their clubs and hopefully attract new members. Attendees can go from club to club and get to know the leaders, as well as learn what the club is and the description. There is also a sign-up sheet where the SC leaders help people sign up for a new club.

Movie Night

March 16, 2022

On March 16, there was a comedy special played in the school "The Ser of Peo" starring Ukrainian president, Zelenskyy. Tickets were 100 denars, along with snacks and drinks that you can buy. All money, which was nearly short of 4,000 denars, was raised and donated as funds for UN Refugee relief efforts. The event lasted from 18:30-18:00 with two parts of the comedy being projected, and a short break in between the two.

Valentines Day

February 14, 2022

On February 14, the SC is holding a Valentine's day themed fundraiser. People will be able to buy an anonymous note for 10-20 denars, or a note + candy for 20-30 denars. This money will either be donated to a shelter for dogs, or will help pay for a dog's surgery for two broken legs. The fundraiser will be during both breaks (10:45-12:05) and will have a stand on each floor.

The Student Council organized it's first Christmas themed bake sale. All baked goods were homemade by the members and were sold inside the auditorium. The money collected was donated to the school Idnina so that they would be able to provide better equipment for their students. The cookies were sold at a price of 30-40 denars per cookie, and it lasted for about an hour.

Bake Sale for Social Centre Dunja

November 22, 2021

Social Centre Dunja is an autonomous and non-profit space for solidarity, critical discussions and initiatives, completely run by volunteers. After visiting the center and volunteering there, a few of our students got inspired to support it. They wanted to do something to help this social center so they decided to host a bake sale. The bake sale had a great outcome and all the money made was donated to this center.
